HB 485 - Regulates the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles in Ohio. Establishes strict liability offenses for operating an unmanned aerial vehicle: i) if the operation is prohibited by either federal law or federal regulations; ii) in a manner that interferes with operations conducted by law enforcement, fire department, or emergency medical services personnel; or iii) to intentionally photograph, record, loiter over or near a critical facility in furtherance of any criminal offense. HB 486 - Regulates the use of unmanned articles vehicles for surveillance. Specifies that flight data and any information obtained through that data may be only admissible in a criminal proceeding if the information was gathered pursuant to a properly issued search warrant or under exigent circumstances.
